Chargex® Lithium Iron Phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries are engineered for durability and performance using bolted 32700 stainless steel cylindrical cells—a significant advancement over conventional tab-welded designs.

Each cell is secured through a rigid Lengthway Circuit Board, adding structural integrity and enhancing electrical conductivity. To further reinforce the pack, we use heavy-duty solid copper bus plates that resist bending and warping—even under extreme conditions—ensuring maximum current flow and long-term reliability.

Every BMS includes built-in protections such as short circuit, reverse polarity, low voltage, and overvoltage safeguards. While this may slightly reduce battery life, it ensures your Marine, RV, and electronic systems keep running when you need them most.

Chargex® lithium batteries feature Lengthway Circuit Boards, which bolt each cell together—providing structural rigidity and seamless integration with the Battery Management System (BMS) for precise cell balancing.

In the rare event of a cell failure, the Lengthway Circuit Board isolates the affected cell, preventing a short circuit and allowing the rest of the battery to continue operating safely. In contrast, traditional tab-welded battery packs are built as a single string of cells—meaning one cell failure can cause total pack failure.
